The Mills Fabrica is proud to present its first large-scale event dedicated to the themes of 'Upcycling' and circular living, the RE-LOVE Green Living Festival. Taking place from August 7 to September 6, 2026, across five consecutive weekends, the festival will feature three exciting themes: 'Sustainable Playground', 'Vintage Culture Festival', and 'Retro Time Machine'.
Following the fun-filled 'Sustainable Playground' last weekend, the upcoming two weekends (August 14-16 and August 21-23) will feature the 'Vintage Culture Festival', taking visitors on a journey into the world of retro. Vintage cars will showcase the freedom of yesteryear, with local second-hand fashion pioneer 'Mei Wah Sze' presenting an American retro fashion selection. The event will also include a second-hand market curated by Old But Gold, stations for redesigning old clothes and embroidery, furniture leather care and repair, and a special vinyl music experience taking you back to the 60s, 70s, and 80s! The 'Retro Time Machine' (August 28-30 and September 4-6) will transport you to the Y2K era with classic JDM car displays, antique bus conservation sharing sessions, talks on Hong Kong's automotive history, car restoration workshops, and a Y2K second-hand market. Popular girl group Lolly Talk, consisting of Yanny, Tania, AhYo, and MeiMei, will also make an appearance as one-day shop managers! In collaboration with Lolly Talk members, 'Sikfabric' will design exclusive Y2K accessories, offering a delightful surprise to their fans.
Whether you're a family looking for sustainable activities, a vintage fashion enthusiast, or an eco-conscious individual passionate about recycling, the RE-LOVE Green Living Festival has something for everyone. Find your 'green inspiration' and incorporate sustainability into your daily life, embracing the RE-LOVE lifestyle of Recycle, Reuse, and Redesign across all aspects of living. Let's inject style and creativity into our eco-friendly endeavors!
Travel back in time to the 1960s and 1980s with the 'Vintage Culture Festival': Classic vintage cars, vinyl records, and a vintage market ignite a retro-sustainable fashion aesthetic.
Step back in time and relive the golden age during the second and third weekends (August 14-16 and August 21-23) with the 'Vintage Culture Festival'. Rediscover retro fashion, music, and classic designs while paying homage to the aesthetic of bygone eras and embracing a minimalist lifestyle.
The紗廠坊 will transform into a European and American retro base, with Car In Life showcasing classic vintage cars that embody the freedom of the golden years. From the 1964 Ford Thunderbird exuding American industrial style to the 1965 Ford Mustang capturing the carefree spirit of the 1960s, and the 1979 Chevrolet Corvette C3 showcasing the last hurrah of American muscle cars in the 1970s, embark on a storytelling journey through time and space. On the other side, witness the 1961 Ford Anglia, exuding 1960s retro charm from the UK, and the 1973 Ford Escort Mark 1 Estate, a compact yet versatile car that left its mark on the rally scene. Let's admire the splendor of the past together.
Local vintage store pioneer 'Mei Wah Sze' will present a selection of American retro fashion, from workwear jackets to upcycled creations, each piece embodying the fashion sense of a bygone era. They will also offer a curated collection of clothing and bags redesigned with vintage fabrics, showcasing a stylish blend of upcycling and the fusion of old and new.
Swing Swing Sixties, a vintage boutique specializing in the swinging 60s, will feature a range of vintage watches and bags from the 1960s and 1970s, allowing you to create a unique retro style while uncovering the stories behind these treasures. For example, a vintage watch from the 1950s features a photo compartment, allowing users to carry precious photos with them, reflecting the unique significance of watches before the mobile phone era.
Curious Things will present a unique collection of homeware from around the world, including antiques, handcrafted items, upcycled furniture, and collectibles, helping you add a one-of-a-kind touch to your living space.
BASEMENT X will host a special vinyl music experience, offering approximately 1,000 vinyl records covering classic collections from the 1960s to 1980s. Resident vinyl experts will bring along first-edition and autographed vinyl records and CDs, allowing music enthusiasts to appreciate the sounds of the past.

CHAT Six Factories' exhibitions and toy design workshops inspire creativity and leave lasting summer memories.
In addition to the RE-LOVE Green Living Festival, The Mills Fabrica's CHAT Six Factories (Sixth Factory Textile Culture and Art Museum) presents a diverse range of exhibitions and collaborative workshops. 'Hong Kong Childhood Textile Exhibition: Warmth and Beyond' showcases Hong Kong's childhood textiles from the 1930s to 2020s, including heirloom garments, ready-to-wear products, mass-produced toys, and handmade cloth dolls. It also features interactive experiences, reflecting on fading social values and prompting us to reconsider resource utilization, historical preservation, and intergenerational connections. The collaborative workshop 'Childhood Creations: Toys from Everyday Materials' is led by local collector Chung Yin Chai, who guides children and their parents in creating four simple yet captivating toys: paper boats, stilts, spinning toys, and catapults, using everyday materials like ropes, iron pipes, and bottle caps. This workshop sparks creativity and rekindles our inner child, leaving memorable family moments.
